Our activities are tailored to the seasons, selected for fun, organization, and responsibility.

The simple and beautiful countryside life can be experienced with us!

Spring

The Little Gardener Camp, as spring is the season when we plant and prepare the garden for it to bloom in all its splendor.

In spring, everything is reborn, but for the rebirth to be more noticeable, we need to clean and prepare the ground. So, we engage the children in orchard cleaning activities. Wondering if they enjoy it? It’s fascinating for them to play like grown-ups!

The trees shed the garments that winter has harshened, and the children are ready to gather them, make piles, and imagine games where they’re on the ‘battlefield’.

There’s no child who wouldn’t rejoice when they feed a fawn, a little goat, or a piglet with their own hands! It’s true that sometimes they want to share even their portion with the beloved animals. And not because the food isn’t good, but precisely because it’s too good! However, we have everything needed to ensure the animals are fed properly, and the portions for the children are exclusively theirs.

Through all the activities we carry out, we teach children about nature and the need to protect it. We’re pruning the trees, and this is an activity that is both practical and artistic, as many want to showcase their skills as great painters.

To plant a tree, start with smaller steps! So, we plant flowers. We do it with enthusiasm and scenarios, weaving stories about the giant flower that will grow, about a new color that will bloom into a flower.

Spring is abundant, and we try to make the most of what it offers to conduct memorable creative and recreational workshops.

Summer

It’s hard to pick a favorite season for organizing camps, but perhaps, just perhaps, summer has a slight advantage. Longer days, an inexhaustible list of activities, the way the sun and warmth invite us to do so many things.

The campfire is the moment that is never missing from any camp organized by us. It’s a perfect time and setting to recall the most beautiful memories from camp, eat marshmallows or roasted corn, and make plans for the next camp (I haven’t met a child yet who doesn’t want to come back!).

Fear of the dark is one of the most common fears among children. But when you confront the Realm of Darkness armed with everything you need, you only befriend it and discover its charm.

Many children have experienced rides in modern means of transportation. They enjoyed the comfort. But rides in a horse-drawn carriage have a special charm. You have the sky above your head, the wind dancing in your hair, and the bumps that make you bounce with laughter are not missing.

Very few children are taught to hammer a nail. This workshop develops their dexterity and hand skills. Moreover, you might end up with a little specialist at home – you never know when you’ll need to hammer a nail for a painting. For this workshop, all safety measures are taken; no child has been harmed, perhaps only small regrets that the workshop didn’t last the whole day.

The area offers a lot in terms of tourism. Every time, we have a day dedicated to field trips on our agenda. One of the trips that always brings maximum delight is the one to Bran Castle.

We teach the children how to properly set up a tent during the day, because at night we let them enjoy the result by testing it out. Sleeping in a tent is comfortable and free, with pleasant dreams!

What fun these games ignite! Whether they’re individual or group games, they come with amusing challenges, and the results are just as amusing.

Outdoor cinema. Or how to enjoy a movie with a permanent soundtrack: the song of crickets.

Nature horseback riding. We ride ponies, we feed them. This activity brings joy to the children, especially since very few have the opportunity to do this in other circumstances.

There are dishes, and then there are dishes cooked in a dutch oven. The taste for flavorful food is cultivated. And when you involve children in preparing these signature dishes, you risk them wanting to experience it again. As many times as possible.

To climb, test their balance, run, go on a zip line. Just a few of the methods through which children can expend their energy in a beautiful, constructive, memorable way. And all of this in the adventure park.

Using clay, wood, paper, and other materials, children unleash their imagination and creativity. Sometimes, we create puppets that we then put on stage. They have roles too. We create plays that would deserve to be seen by a wider audience, some of them are comedies that would entertain even the most serious individuals.

On forest paths, even at night! Hiking trips are the opportunity for children to get even closer to nature. We tell them about the animals in the area, how to avoid the potentially dangerous ones, sing songs, tell jokes, and marvel at the vegetation, birds, and everything that crosses our path.

Sport shooting is an individual sport that involves shooting with the highest precision at a fixed target or moving target. It has been practiced for hundreds of years and develops a range of skills.

The national sport of Bhutan, it brings a lot of joy when practiced at Lerești. Similar to pistol/rifle shooting, archery develops a range of skills.

No need to describe the activity itself, but a short description of the effect it has: pure joy.

Fall

The Farmers’ Camp, precisely because autumn is the season of harvest, but also the season of ‘jar-making,’ when jars of pickles, jams, and preserves are prepared.

Workshops, which no longer need details, because they summarize the action so well.

We take plump or slender pumpkins and start carving them according to the imagination of the little ones. Eyes and eyebrows are drawn, large mouths and scary grins are outlined. The result: original lanterns!

Red, green, yellow apples hanging on branches positioned at low or high heights, the apples are harvested by the diligent hands of the little ones. For them, it’s fascinating to see the fruits of their labor with their own eyes. For others, the appetite is greater than the desire to work. For all, the activity is both enjoyable and pleasant.

Or about how easily the artificial taste of store-bought juice can be replaced by the authentic flavor of homemade apple juice. And when you take part in its production at every stage, the joy of consuming it becomes much greater.

We prepare them to become homemakers! Because traditions and authentic flavors should never go out of style.

Autumn provides us with so many materials that we can use in creative workshops! And not only that! Also in fun workshops, which is why we already have the famous leaf fight.

We have the opportunity to dress up as whoever we want and get into the role of a ghost, a princess, a witch. More than just a costume party, it’s a party of actors.

Winter

Sledging Camp. In fact, these are the camps where we make the most of the snow to build forts, giant snowmen, have snowball fights, go sledding, and enjoy the snow by sliding down hills on sleds, plastic sheets, and any other accessory that makes us feel like we’re flying.

Creating Snowmen from unexpected materials. Painted sock snowballs. Carving snowflake patterns on wood. And many more! You can explore all these creative ideas and more during our winter-themed creative workshops.

Rosy cheeks, contagious laughter echoing on the street, sled flying at dizzying speed and spins, but without accidents, only with even more intense bursts of laughter. That’s how sledding sessions on the hills of Lerești look like. Children fully enjoy everything that winter brings that’s beautiful and fluffy: snow.

Round circles, one is the body, another is the head. Some are chubby, others are slimmer, some are siblings of Pinocchio, some have frying pan hats that make them look like they’re on a catwalk 😊 Why do kids enjoy making snowmen so much? Because the snow takes the shape of a… person. Just as they imagine it, crafted according to the patterns of their imagination. And how much joy it brings to the creator!

We build bunkers. Big, tall ones. Real fortresses. And the workers at the bunkers expend their energy in a way that is not only creative but also recreational.

Snowball fights are an opportunity for children to laugh heartily, to playfully “attack” their “enemies” in role-playing games, and to experience the magic of winter through play.

When the evening comes, we have cabin games on the schedule: games that engage memory, the mind, and also games that bring amusement.
